LAKE FENTON HIGH SCHOOL: 71
The Owosso Boy’s Track and Field team lost an extremely close meet to Lake Fenton by a score of 71-66. It was a great effort by the team and we fell just short. Scoring performances include the following:
Gavin Mecomber took 1st place in the 110 m and 300 m hurdles with a PR time of 15.66 in the 110 and 43.61 in the 300. He also took 1st in the long jump with a jump of 19’10.5 and 2nd in the high jump with a height of 6’0.
Zach Rye took 1st in the shot put and discus with throws of 42’5.5 and 145’2.
Evan Hunter took 1st in the 200 m and 2nd in the 100 m dashes with times of 24.71 and a PR time of 11.95. He also took 3rd place in the long jump with a jump of 18’4.5.
Simon Erfourth took 1st in the 3200 m run and 2nd in the 1600 m run with times of 10:50.83 and 4:52.38.
Max Baade took 2nd in the 400 and was also 2nd in the pole vault with a height of 9’2.
Nick Nidiffer took 3rd in the 800 m run with a time of 2:20.16.
Charlie Agnew took 3rd in the 3200 m run with a time of 12:16.28.
Zander Walz took 3rd in the110 m hurdles with a time of 21.81.
Joe Bodbyl took 3rd in both the shot put and discus with throws of 38’2.5 and 105’4.
The 4x100 m relay team of Thomas Barrett, Landen Hawes, Zander Walz and Noah Klawyun took 1st with a time of 54.71.
The 4x400 m relay team of Max Baade, Simon Erfourth, Matthew Shattuck and Evan Hunter took 1st with a time of 3:47.68.
Other PR performances include:
Zayne Bentley in the 100 with 13.39.
Laneden Hawes in the 100 with 13.90.
Noah Klawyun in the 100 with 13.95.
David Wisenbaugh in the 200 with 28.41.
Aidan Paksi in the 200 with 29.47.
Kai Miller in the 800 with 2:26.41, and in the 1600 with 5:19.24.
Charlie Agnew in the 1600 with 5:20.95.
Porter Emerson in the 1600 with 6:12.69.
Kayden Cook in the shot put with 31’1.
Michael Woodworth in the discus with 79’9.
Jayden Somers in the discus with 67’5.
Tristan Williams in the high jump with 5’8.
Braden Reed in the high jump with 5’3.
This meet marks the close of the FML dual meet part of the season. The Trojans will be back on the track on Friday at the Corunna Cavalier Classic. Field events will begin at 3 PM and running events at 3:30 PM.
